Muntjac Deer at The Stable

​A Muntjac deer roaming the front garden the other day. We often see them in both front and back gardens (or we see their nibbling evidence!) In the early morning or evening.

We also sometimes see the larger Roe deer, but that is rarer.

The Muntjac can be pretty loud, and their bark (similar to a loud dog sometimes!) sometimes heard at night time and early morning can wake us up!
